I have bought many copies of this book as gifts and it has been a big hit - both with the kids who like to say "B is for bunuelos" and the parents who are excited to help teach their kids about Spanish words (and a bit about Mexican culture). The illustrations are fun. I also love the other Merry Banks books like Animals of the Night. Highly recommended.

This is a cute and interesting story about Latin Christmas customs. It touches on the first Christmas Story and other Latin customs as the author takes you through the alphabet, one letter for each customs. It is in rhyme.

This is a beautiful book that shares Christmas customs that are celebrated in the Latino culture. The illustrations are fantastic and I hope Joe Cepeda wins the Caldecott Medal for this book.
