It is very difficult to find anything that can introduce into this almost alien world of aboriginal culture within about 35 minutes. This album does it and leaves a feeling of deep relatedness within the listener. Some inroducing words of Bob Maza between the selected pieces of traditional aboriginal music from different areas explain some key aspects of aboriginal cultural identity without getting any bit of boring or scolarly. It is a real experience to listen to this wonderful album.
